These days life is so incredibly busy, that I have trouble getting together with my best friend, Maddy. She and I live only about 15 minutes apart, but our lives take us in totally different directions- most days. I’ve decided that we make time for the things that are important to us… and since friends are important to me… I need to make more time for them- and especially for Mads and the girls.
They dropped by for a visit a couple of weeks ago, and ran ragged in my back yard. I love that, even though I have a small yard, it is big enough for a play structure, and a bit of running room for my young kids… there have been many days in the past, and I’m sure many to come in the future, where I have been/will be so grateful to be able to send my kids outside to play. I cherish simple days like this one!
