Update… and balloon fun!

Life is really kicking me in the butt these days!  I usually feel like I am handling things… but these past few months have really dealt me a full hand.  I feel exhausted, and I don’t feel very inspired!  I feel bogged down by the realities of life and I need to pick myself up by my boot straps and get a going… each day has enough to worry about all by itself, so why am I so worried about a week, much less a few months from now??

Here is what has been going on with me:

1. third trimester of pregnancy- need I say more??

2. Rylie has had back to back (or never gone) ear infections with a burst in her left ear drum.

3. we are converting the loft into a bedroom/playroom for Wesley and the girls.

4. Mike has been working crazy long hours.

5. I’m not sleeping well.

6. I have NOTHING ready for the baby, and realize that I need a lot more than I thought. (and boy stuff is lame)

7. Rylie is going in for her “pre-Fontan” catheterization on Friday, and I could cry just thinking about her surgeries.

8. Campbelle needs more attention with her fine motor skills, so I’ve been trying to teach my left handed daughter to write.

9. property taxes are due!

10. I am totally uninspired in my photography, and have no time or energy to poor into it!

I did manage to get my camera out and literally dust it off (drywall dust gets EVERYWHERE!)  I had this idea for a family picture with balloons.  It didn’t end up being a family shot, because my hubby was covered in drywall mud and was too busy to stop for a picture.  But here it is anyway!

I couldn’t decide if I liked the color or black and white… so I’m posting both.  I took the picture with my remote, on a timer!  My camera is propped up on our patio table with a sweatshirt under it, and you can see how the garment is not quiet out of the frame!

Then we played with the balloons until they all popped.

Beth - Today I was praying for your little Rylie, and for the rest of your family. I hope this much needed Easter break will be as relaxing as possible.
